Dora Melanson of Memramcook East passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont hospital surrounded by her family on Tuesday September 28, 2010 at the age of 59 after a short battle with cancer. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Bourgeois and the late Amanda LeBlanc.
 She worked at Ocean Optical until her retirement and was a member of the Golden age Club of Memramcook. She had a passion for line dancing.
She is survived by her husband Roger; one sister, Jeanne (Aldérice) LeBlanc of Irishtown, five brothers; George (Dorilla) of College Bridge, Léonard (Irène) of St-Joseph, Eugène (Noëlla) of Irishtown, Walter (Jeannette) of Memramcook East and Danny (Diane) of Belliveau Village and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Florence and by two brothers Alyre and Donald.
Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Homeand the Funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Memramcook East on Friday October 1 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
